*Here are passages that relate to Revelations chapter 2. The church at Ephesus lost it's first love...a passion for God and people. God is jealous when something else takes His place in our lives. Take a look at these passages.

1. Exodus 20:5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
